A Personal Connection
The name PMPNY is more than just a brand — it’s a tribute to my grandfather. He was my first fan and my greatest influence, a man whose strength and determination shaped my values. A war survivor, an immigrant, and a self-taught craftsman who built our family home, he taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and keeping loved ones close. Much of my own passion for creating with my hands comes from him, and his legacy lives on in every PMPNY design.

At PMPNY, every piece is crafted with intention. I design my bags like armor — bold, edgy, and protective. Growing up, I faced challenges like dyslexia and bullying for my sexual orientation. These experiences made me tough and taught me the importance of feeling safe and confident. Carrying a PMPNY bag isn’t just about fashion; it’s about carrying a piece of strength and resilience with you.
Sustainability at the Core
Our commitment to sustainability is unwavering. While I love the variety and texture of leather, I struggled with the ethical implications of using it. Fashion leather often comes from the food supply chain, but I couldn’t ignore the toll it takes on animals and the environment. That’s why PMPNY uses innovative, cruelty-free materials like vegan pineapple leather. It’s a small step towards a future where fashion respects the planet.We’ve taken our sustainability mission further by supporting reforestation efforts through partnerships like One Tree Planted, planting a tree with every order. It’s about making a tangible impact on our planet’s future.
